Ukrainian City Implements E-Ticketing System with the support of an American Investor

March 18, Varash, a city with a population of approximately 42,000 people in western Ukraine, became the next Сity in Ukraine to implement the innovative e-ticketing "TREK" system . The framework was launched in a record short time of 5 months with the involvement of private investments from Akseniya Krupenko, head of the American Foundation Revival Foundation, Washington D.C.

"TREK" is a Ukrainian system that has too much in common with the American Uber Transit: both are SaaS platforms for cashless payments, route tracking, and data analytics in the passenger transportation industry.

The implementation involves equipping buses with validators to register passenger payments and GPS trackers to monitor traffic online.

Advantages of "TREK":

  • Convenience: Passengers can pay for travel cashlessly.
  • Transparency: The system allows you to monitor the provision of transport services by bus chauffeurs, and have complete statistics on transport, including preferential ones.
  • Efficiency: TREK makes public transportation more transparent and efficient

The "TREK" system implementation in Varash City is a testament to Ukraine's commitment to innovation and the introduction of the latest technologies in the field of public transportation. It can be an example for other cities in the world that want to improve the quality of life of their residents, and it is also a testament to the fact that Ukrainian technologies can be competitive on the world market.
