Issues and drawbacks of urban transportation in Ukraine:

As of today, the system of urban passenger transportation in Ukraine operates inefficiently, non-transparently, and with low-quality service. This is attributed to several factors:

1. Lack of transparency in financial transactions in transportation: Inadequate control over financial operations in transport companies facilitates illegal financial transactions and subpar service quality.

2. Insufficient data on the number of transported passengers: The lack of information about transport volumes complicates route planning and optimization.

3. Absence of statistical data on transportation of preferential categories of citizens: This hinders the rational allocation of resources for social programs and preferential tariffs.

4. Unreliable information about the state of the transportation network: The absence of objective data on the profitability of routes and infrastructure conditions hampers effective system management.
